David L. Boice, Jr.

David Leonard Boice, Jr., 29, of North Ray Street, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his home in New Castle. He was born July 5, 1989 in Pittsburgh, a son of David and Nancy (Eckhardt) Boice, Sr., his parents survive in New Castle. David was a sales representative for the Crane & Company Electrical Supply. He loved life and enjoyed taking walks in the woods. He also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is survived by three brothers, Michael A. Boice and wife Simonae of New Castle, Shawn A. Boice and wife Ashlee of New Castle, and Greg J. Boice of New Castle, his grandmother, Mary Eckhardt, his grandfather, David A. Boice, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather William Eckhardt, and his grandmother Patricia Boice.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will be officiating.
