David G. Cartwright

David Garth Cartwright, 63, of Adams Street, New Castle, died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. He was born April 21, 1955 in New Castle, a son of the late Henry Cartwright and the late Violet (Clark) Daytner. He was married to Christine Ann (Zedick) Cartwright on June 21, 1983, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Cartwright was a body man at Nick's Auto Body retiring after 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors and repairing and restoring cars.
In addition to his wife he is survived by six children, David Cartwright, Tammy Turner and her husband Eric, John Zedick, Robert Cartwright, Sasha Cartwright, and Lisa Cartwright, all of New Castle, one brother, Jeffrey Cartwright of New Castle, one sister, Marilyn Kerns of Linesville, PA, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Henry and Wesley Cartwright.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 12:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating.
