Deetta I. 'Sissy' Lalama

Deetta I. ‘Sissy’ Lalama, 72, of Grove Avenue, Union Township, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in New Castle. She was born on June 13, 1951 in New Castle a daughter of the late Donald and Marguerite (Gilliland) Marshall. Mrs. Lalama was the owner/operator of Lalama Trucking retiring after 20 years. She loved her dogs, Babe, Tommie, and Caesar, and loved helping everybody. She will especially be remembered as a loving aunt, sister, and just a great woman.

She is survived by one sister, Patricia Siddall and her husband Edward of New Castle, one brother, Robert Marshall, nieces and nephews, Donald Siddall and his wife Jacqueline, Joey Marshall, Bobbi Medure, Donald Marshall III, Shawn Marshall, Ricky Marshall, and Eric Marshall, great nieces and nephews, Donald Siddall Jr., Tommy Siddall, Chad Siddall, Billy Jake Marshall Jr., Patty Marshall, Frankie Amicone, Josh Amicone, Tommy Amicone, Cheyenne Amicone, Juliana Medure, Mara Medure, and Milana Marshall.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Lalama, her second husband, Hobie Bellew, one brother, Donald Marshall Jr., and two nephews, Thomas Amicone and Billy Jake Marshall.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Pastor Dominick Cestrone will officiate.
