Denise Ann Vanazia, July 25, 1957, the life of Denise Gidaro began, a woman of fierce love, compassion, and will.
Born to the late, Alfonsina San Felice, along with her late brother Anthony Gidaro.
In 1975, she married the love of her life, James Vanazia. Together they made three children, Jimmy (Tonya) Vanazia, Joey (Tammi) Vanazia, and Monica (Mathew) Iannarelli. Amongst her greatest loves came three beautiful grandchildren, Joey, Sofia, and Alfonsina.
Denise has held many titles over her years. She took pride in being a home health aide, where she treated every patient as if they were her own loved one. She worked in retail at Hills and Aimes department stores. She was a homemaker, an incredible cook and baker, an advocate for animals, a lending ear, a best friend, she was a force to be reckoned with as well as one you wanted in your life. She loved gardening, and truly made her house a home. She was unstoppable in so many ways. But, above all else, her biggest joys came from being a Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. Her pride was in her family. Her strong faith in Jesus Christ has given us all comfort in this time as we all lean into Him for grace and strength. We will forever carry her in our hearts. Our Beloved Denise went to be with our Lord, August 19, 2023.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, August 25, 2023 at 6:00 PM. Pastor Dominick Cestrone will officiate.
