Diana M. Mascetta

Diana M. Mascetta, 87, of Gale Street, died December 7, 2023, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. She was born April 19, 1936, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Vitale) Ambrosia. She was married to the late Berardino ‘Benny’ Mascetta, who died on February 7, 2015. Mrs. Mascetta worked at Stambaugh & Thompson in the sales department for a number of years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and spending time with friends. Above all, her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Miriah and RJ.
She is survived by one son, Ralph J. Mascetta and his wife Michele of New Castle, and two grandchildren, Miriah Oliva and her husband Gian, and RJ Mascetta.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Theresa A. Essinger, and one brother, Joseph Ambrosia.
Private services will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
