Earle W. Williams

Earle Wayne Williams, 89, of Old State Road, Slippery Rock Township, died Saturday, November 10, 2018 in New Castle. He was born June 23, 1929 in New Castle, a son of the late Earle and Myrtle (Maine) Williams. He was married to the late Patricia (Doutt) Williams who died September 2006. Mr. Williams was an engineer on the B&O Railroad retiring after 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and he raised beagles and coon hounds. He was also a member of the Beagle Club.

He is survived by two children, Linda Ridge and husband Steve of New Castle, and Earl F. Williams and wife Janet of New Castle, three step-children, Anna Mae Anderson of Atlanta, GA, Donald Schenker and wife Traci of Youngstown, OH, and Richard Schenker of New Wilmington, one brother, Mainard Williams and wife Dorothy of New Castle, one sister, Marjorie Nicholas of Parma, OH, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandson, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Carole Williams, and his former wife, Ruth (Hill) Turner.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 3 PM to 5 PM.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Damian Williams will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
