Edith M. Fazzone, 97, of Wilder Street, died Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her residence in New Castle. She was born in Brent, PA, on May 13, 1927, the daughter of the late Fortunato and Marietta (Bucci) Schepp. She was married to the late William M. Fazzone, who died on September 11, 2007. She worked at Shenango China and was a member of Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vitus Church. Mrs. Fazzone enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, and taking trips to the casino. She loved her dog, Duchess. Her favorite thing was cooking for the family on the holidays, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Every Christmas Eve after dinner at her house, she would play Silent Night on the organ.

She is survived by three children, William F. Fazzone and his wife Karen of Poland, OH, Cindy A. Harris of Tomball, TX, and Denise L. Wetzel of New Castle, five grandchildren, Jason Fazzone, Jaime Fazzone, Christina Harris, Chance Harris, and Leslie Wetzel, and three great-grandchildren, Mariah Gayem, McKinley Carlisle, and Terenzio Lyles.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, Charles Harris, one granddaughter, Lisa Wetzel, two brothers, Ralph Schepp and Anthony Schepp, and four sisters, Viola Zingaro, Irma Domenick, Gena Clause, and Flora Volpe.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A blessing service will be celebrated Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
