Gary E. Show, 70, of Shaffer Road in Slippery Rock Township, died Saturday, October 7, 2023 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born on February 21, 1953, in New Castle, the son of the late Edwin M. and Eleanor M. (Leonhardt) Show. Mr. Show worked for Ellwood City Forge as a security guard and grinder, retiring after 40 years. He loved any kind of car racing and working on cars with his brothers, animals, going to Bristol & NASCAR races. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
Mr. Show is survived by one brother, Thomas Show and his wife Debbie of New Castle, one sister, Margie Lough and her husband Dave of New Castle, one sister-in-law, Diana Show of New Castle, one niece Sierra (Charlie), five nephews DJ (Crystl), Kevin, Dillon (Dayna), Bryan (Jennie), and David, two great nieces and two great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Show and Dan Show.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at Center Church Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Shari Errera will officiate. Burial will be in Center Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
