Gary A. Sperdute

Gary Anthony Sperdute, 61, of Nesbit Street, New Castle, died Monday, September 24, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born November 4, 1956 in New Castle, a son of Felix Sperdute and the late Jetta (Warren) Sperdute. He was married to Pamela Jean (Mitchell) Sperdute, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Sperdute was the masonry teacher at the Lawrence County Career & Technical Center for 22 years. He was an Army veteran serving in the field artillery. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle and he had a large train collection. Gary will be remembered for his love of life, his love of his students, and his love for his dog, Zeus.

In addition to his father and wife he is survived by one daughter, Lori L. Corona and her husband Marc of Murrieta, CA, two brothers, Howard and George Sperdute, both of New Castle, and one sister, Cheryl Lamont of New Castle, and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Blessing services will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 7:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Deacon John Carran will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Lucy Cemetery.
