Gene B. Frank

Gene Burton Frank, 71, Miller Avenue of Union Township, died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Beaver. He was born October 4, 1947 in New Castle, a son of the late Perry and Ada (Gilles) Frank. He was married to Joni M. (DeMauro) Frank on December 31, 1985, she survives in Union Township. Mr. Frank worked at Rockwell Axle, and was owner and operator of Gene Frank's Lines and Hoses for 8 years He then worked a number of years for NEPCO and Ideas in Motion. Following that he worked for TSA at Pittsburgh Airport.  He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era serving with Squadron VT-22 as an aviation electrician. Gene was a member of the New Castle Area Honor Guard and he enjoyed dancing and fishing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, George A. Frank and his wife Abby of Walnut Creek, CA, Gina M. Burris and her husband James of Oil City, PA, and Angela M. Frank of New Castle, one step-son, Shawn M. Martin of New Castle, and four grandchildren, Jacob Burris, Ava Frank, June Frank, and Kaelynn Martin.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Jack Frank.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 4 PM to 6 PM.

Blessing services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Victor J. Molka, Jr. of Mary Mother of Hope Parish will be officiating. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Service Rites at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
