Jarred Thibault

Jarred Thibault, 23, of Butler, PA, formerly of Lewiston, ME, passed away on Sunday, July 16.

Jarred was born April 9, 2000, in Lewiston, son of Robert Thibault, and grandson of Caroline and Roger Parent. He was a 2018 graduate of Lewiston High School and the Lewiston Regional Technical Center. He was a member of the LHS Cross-Country team, as well as a member of the founding class of the LRTC’s Plumbing/HVAC program.

Jarred was an active member of Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine’s Auburn/Lewiston Clubhouse. In addition to being a member of the club’s travel basketball team, he was also active in Keystone Club, a volunteer basketball coach working with younger members, and active teen volunteer who was named the Club’s Teen Member of the Year in 2016.

In addition to his father and grandparents, Jarred is survived by his stepmom, Andie Hannon; his aunt and uncle, Sandi and Pete Vance, or Norway; his uncles, Michael Thibault, of Poland, and Richard (Dick) DuBois, of Lewiston; his cousins, Amanda Burhoe, of South Paris, Corey Burhoe, of Noway; and Chase, Alex and Kiara Thibault, of Mechanic Falls; and his best furball friends – Tigger, Binks and Jack – and many other family and friends who will forever miss his infectious laugh and mischievous smile.

Jarred was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert (Bob) Thibault, and several great-aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life service is being planned for Saturday, November 4, at 1:00 p.m., at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Maine’s Auburn-Lewiston Clubhouse.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
