Jason Morell McKnight, 37, of Richlieu Avenue, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born October 10, 1980 in Baltimore, Maryland a son of the late Tyrone M. Washington and Katie McKnight. His mother survives in New Castle. Mr. McKnight was an avid football fan, Ravens fan and Michael Jackson fan. He loved his kids and will be remembered as a family man who was passionate and had a kind heart.
He is survived by his loving companion, Jennifer Austin, five children, Tatiaynna Austin, Jamiya Austin, Noel McKnight, Niala McKnight, and Egypt McKnight, all of New Castle, two brothers, Randy Boone of Pittsburgh, and Cody Mcallister of New Castle, three sisters, Trina McKnight, Nena McKnight, and Michelle McKnight, all of Baltimore, MD, six nieces and nephews, Kibreya McKnight, Kayla McKnight, Vasshawn Whitby, Jordan McKnight, Autturo McCullegan, Jala McKnight, and one great nephews, Maliji.
Family and friends will be received at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 12 PM to 1 PM.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Pastor Richard Rue will be officiating.
