Jessie A. Quear

Jessie Ann Quear, 69, of South New Castle Street, New Wilmington, formerly of New Castle, died Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born January 10, 1949 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Copple) Quear. Miss Quear enjoyed watching television and game shows and playing bingo and cards. She also loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, David E. Quear of New Castle, three brothers, Alex Quear of New Castle, Thomas Quear of New Castle, and Joseph Quear of Boardman, OH, three sisters, Angela McCallister of Boardman, OH, Nancy Haybarger of Boardman, OH, and Mary Nestasie of West Pittsburg, four grandchildren, David, Michelle, Michael and William, and nine great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by an infant son.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Blessing services will be held Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Zachary Galiyas of St. Vitus Church will be officiating.  Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
