John J. Sansone, Sr.
March 30, 1933 — June 19, 2018
John J. Sansone, Sr., 85, passed away the morning of June 19, 2018 at UPMC Mercy Hospital.
Born on March 30, 1933, he was the son of the late Dominick and Grace Iodice Sansone.
A loving father to four children, Valerie Stevenson, Toni Ullrich, Leslie and Joseph Bullano, John and Mirella Sansone. He has 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Christina, Mildred, Mary, Elizabeth, Victor, Thomas and Alexander.
John was a member of St. Vitus Church, was New Castle High School Class President of 1951, captain of the Ne Ca Hi Football and Basketball teams and loved sports. His greatest enjoyment was spending time and singing with his family.
A private service was held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial is at St. Vitus Cemetery.
