Judith Ann Maggie

Judith Ann Maggie, 75, of Ashberry Lane, died Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at her residence in New Castle. She was born on January 15, 1949, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Hoch) McKibben. Mrs. Maggie was married to the late Gerald J. Maggie, who died on April 2, 2009. Mrs. Maggie worked as a medical transcriptionist for Jameson Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, Ellwood City Hospital, and Psych Med at Dr. Matta’s office, retiring after 55 years. She was a member of Challenges Silver Sneakers, Red Hat Society, and Rainbow Organization. She enjoyed lunch dates with her friends, Sunday dinners with her family, and making crafts with her grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Robbie J. Maggie and his wife Laurie of New Castle, Ryan J. Maggie, Sr., and his wife Kylee of Richmond, VA, and MacKenzie J. Wagner and her husband Eric of Richman, VA, six grandchildren, Ryan J. Maggie, Jr., Joshua A. Maggie, Jordan R. Maggie, Layla R. Maggie, Trevor J. Maggie, and Dylan J. Wagner, and one brother, Robert McKibben of Hillsville, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard McKibben.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Co-Celebrants Rev. Joette Lehberger and Rev. Ami Beth Stells will officiate.
