Kathie J. Wycliffe

Kathie J. Wycliffe, 71, formerly of Delaware Avenue, died Monday, June 3, 2024, at Haven Convalescent Home in New Castle. She was born on March 5, 1953, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Michael and Velma (Quinn) Annarella. She was a teacher for Shenango High School and Union High School, and a professor at BC3 retiring after 15 years. She was then a secretary for New Castle School of Trades and was owner/operator of Amish Country Keepsakes in downtown New Castle, retiring after 10 years. She was a graduate of education from Slippery Rock University. She loved her grandchildren, sports, reading, crafts, and movies, especially Rudy and Hoosiers.

She is survived by three children, Jaime M. DeGidio (Brian Legault) of New Castle, Megan L. Flickner (Robert) of Morgantown, WV, and Kristen M. DeGidio (Jeffrey Scrim) of New Castle, seven grandchildren, Daniel Moore, Maxwell Abraham, Gia Moore, Charlie Fornataro, Jaxon Fornataro, Jillian Montgomery, and Jeffrey Scrim, III, and one brother, Michael F. Annarella, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by on brother, Harry P. Annarella.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A blessing services will be celebrated Friday, June 7, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Deacon John Carran will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
