Lonette Y. Georges

Lonette Yvonne Georges, 68, of East Hazelcroft Avenue, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born September 26, 1949 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Walter and Della (Leone) Fagnilli. She was married to the late Frank A. Georges who died May 21, 2013. Mrs. Georges worked at UPMC Jameson Hospital for over 30 years as an LPN, in the Pharmacy and as a data abstractor. She enjoyed reading, was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan and loved spending time with family and her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by two sisters, Melissa N. Pierz of New Castle, and Lissa C. Savelli of New Castle, two brothers, Walter A. Fagnilli of New Castle, and Michael J. Fagnilli of Maryland, two grandchildren, Frank Isaac Dierfield, and a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Faith A. Georges, her brother Ronald E. Fagnilli, and her sister, Cosette Lowery.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Entombment will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
