Louise N. Lombardi

Louise N. Lombardi, 96, formerly of Blanchard Street, Mahoningtown, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Shenango Presbyterian Senior Care in New Wilmington. She was born April 10, 1922 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Americo and Silvia (DeMatteo) Lombardi. Ms. Lombardi was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish. She retired from Packard Electric after 28 years and was the 1st female harness foreman. She also worked at Shenango China, and enjoyed reading, traveling, and gardening.

She is survived by one nephew, Louis M. Perretta and wife Donna of New Castle, one niece, Sylvia Perretta Lesic of Chevy Chase, MD, one great nephew, Corry Schachern and wife Autumn, great great niece Aria and great great nephew Daniel, and a number of God children.

She was also preceded in death by her sister Norma Perretta.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 5 PM to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Vince Kolo of St. Vincent de Paul Church will officiate. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Entombment will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Shenango Senior Care Benevolent Fund, 238 S. Market St., New Wilmington, PA  16142.
