Lucy Ann Conti

Lucy Ann Conti, 90, of Mt. Jackson Road, died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Jameson Care Center in New Castle. She was born on December 8, 1933, in New Castle, the daughter of the late Luciano and Filippa (Pandolfi) DeVincentis. She was married to the late Anthony Pete Conti, who died October 6, 2013. Mrs. Conti worked for Fisher Brother’s Dry Good Company in the payroll department in the corporate office for 8 years. She then worked as a private duty care giver for a number of years. Mrs. Conti was a member of Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vincent de Paul, she was a member of the Women of Faith, sang in the choir, and cooked for the church. She loved cooking, baking, and giving back to others.

She is survived by three children, Anthony R. Conti and husband Daniel Rayhill of Pittsburgh, Sharon L. Aloisi and husband Drew of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Jacqueline S. Conti and partner Jeffrey Hedland of New Castle, three grandchildren, Anthony J. Smiley, Michelle R. Wilson and husband Joseph, and Roman S. Aloisi, seven great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Lori A. Smiley, one granddaughter, Alena Aloisi, two brothers, Alfred DeVincentis and Richard DeVincentis, and one sister, Clara Cournan.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 19, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Holy Spirit Parish- St. Mary. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Holy Spirit Parish in memory of Lucy A. Conti.
