Madeline 'Dolly' Passerrello

Madeline ‘Dolly’ Passerrello, 91, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 19, 2024, following a brief illness at UPMC Passavant-McCandless Hospital. She was born in New Castle on April 19, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie (Constanstine) Micco. Dolly married Marshall J. Passerrello, Sr., on June 12, 1952. He died on August 24, 2016. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish- St. Vitus. She loved cooking, baking, family gatherings, and above all spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Marshall J. Passerrello, Jr., and his wife Patty of Newark, OH, and Jeffrey A. Passerrello, Sr., and his wife Lorraine of Allison Park, PA, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one brother, Patsy Micco of New Castle, and one sister, Delores Montswil of New Castle.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by six brothers, James Micco, Alex Micco, Joseph Micco, Dominic Micco, Carman Micco, and Anthony Micco, and two sisters, Carmella Pallerino and Nancy Clause.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 22, 2024, from 5 PM to 7 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A blessing service will be celebrated Monday, September 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
