Marcyne E. Flak

Marcyne E. Flak, 79, of Dushane Street died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her residence in New Castle. She was born on December 30, 1943 in New Castle, the daughter of the late Richard and Jean Ann (Hutchinson) Biddle. She was married to the late Gordon Flak, who died on March 16, 2011. Mrs. Flak was a secretary for Lawrence County Career and Technical Center, retiring after 22 years. She was an animal lover. She loved horses, traveling, and music.
She is survived by four children, Jeff Flak of New Castle, Michael Flak of New Castle, Christine Flak of Erie, and Suzann Aeschbacher and her husband Michael of New Castle, twelve grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one sister, Lori Biddle Dillon.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jean Ann Flak, and two brothers, Richard Biddle and William Biddle.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
