Marie Marcotullio

Marie Marcotullio, 91, of Sunset Drive died Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Quality Life Services in New Castle. She was born on January 1, 1932 in New Castle, a daughter of the late William and Maria (Scaricaciottoli) Stoner. Marie was married to Frank Marcotullio, for 69 years, who died on November 8, 2020. She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish-St. Camillus. Mrs. Marcotullio was co-owner and bookkeeper of Alco Washer with her late husband, retiring after 50 years. She enjoyed cooking, playing tennis and cards, fashion and shopping, and traveling especially to Las Vegas. She was a two-time breast cancer survivor and was very active in the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Association. Above all Marie loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Lisa M. Marcotullio and her husband David Matsey of Cranberry, Regina Pcsolyar and her husband Chad of Freedom, and Frank Marcotullio II and his wife Lori of Ellicott City, MD, and her grandchildren, Michael Pcsolyar, Nicholas Marcotullio, Zachary Marcotullio, and Lexi Karras.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by six brothers, John Stoner, Victor Stoner, William Stoner Jr., Anthony Stoner, Reynold Stoner, and Fred Stoner, and one sister, Minnie Pisciuneri.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 5 PM to 7 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Holy Spirit Parish- St. Camillus at 11:00 AM. Funeral procession will be leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM. Father Ben Barr will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
