Marilyn E. Nero

Marilyn Evonne Nero, 82, formeryly of Union Township, died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Quality Life Services New Castle. She was born October 28, 1935 in North Sewickley Township, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Lintz) Taylor. She was married to the late Samuel Nero who died June 13, 1989. Mrs. Nero was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Genesis. She attended challenges and enjoyed doing activities at the nursing home.

She is survived by seven children, Helen Taylor of New Castle, Robert Taylor and girlfriend Fortune Henshaw of Mt. Jackson, Dorothy Kale of New Castle, Rudy Nero and wife Claudia of New Castle, Darlene Doran of New Castle, Rebecca Russo and husband Paul of New Castle, and Christina Greathouse of New Castle, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, Samuel Nero, Jr. and Anthony Nero, and two brothers Loyal and Sherman Hall.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 6:00 PM at Church of Genesis. Pastor Ron Eade of Church of Genesis will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
