Marlene Grace Dierfield, 84, of Stanton Avenue died Sunday, March 19, 2023 at her residence in New Castle. She was born in Ellwood City on December 4, 1938 a daughter of the late John and Blanche (Raisley) Orr. She married LeRoy I. Dierfield on October 10, 1964, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Dierfield was a hairdresser. She was also a Custodian at Lawrence County Career and Technical Center for 17 years and worked at K-Mart in sales for 10 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church, where she attended Ladies Bible Study and was a member of the National Prayer Center. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daugthers, Brenda L. Zior and her husband Rev. Scott of Largo, FL and Kimberly A. Miller of New Castle, one sister, Carol Michaels, seven grandsons, and three great-granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, LeRoy J. Dierfield, two brothers, Robert Orr and William Orr, and her step-mother, Anna Mae Orr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Steve DeSantis will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
