Maryedna Reid

Maryedna Reid, 79, of North Cascade Street, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her home in New Castle. She was born April 20, 1939 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mable Miles. She was married to the late William C. Reid, Sr. Mrs. Reid was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Genesis. She enjoyed reading, needle point, and loved taking care of her grandkids, great grandkids and great great grandson.
She is survived by four children, William A. Miles and husband Kenneth Kanarek of New Baltimore, MI, Cheryl L. Emes and husband Robert of New Castle, Tammy L. Reid of New Castle, William C. Reid, Jr. and wife Lorie of New Castle, one brother, John Miles of Missouri, one sister, Linda Cassidy of Ohio, fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter April Reid.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Ron Eade of Church of Genesis will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
