Melanie Ann Crews, 65, of State Rt 956 in Volant, PA, died on Monday, April 21, 2025, at her residence. She was born in New Castle, PA, on November 30, 1959, the daughter of the late Clyde W. Fisher and Ria R. (Hookway) Fisher, her mother survives in New Castle. Mrs. Crews married Ronald R. Crews on September 2, 2006, he survives at home. She worked at Liberty Mutual in the clerical department and AT&T in the relay department. Mrs. Crews was a member of Evangel Community Church. She enjoyed spending time with her church family, and she loved her cats. She also enjoyed watching tv.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by two children, MacKenzie Holcomb and her husband David of Conneaut, OH and Michael Ellison of Farrell, PA, and two brothers, Thomas Fisher and Chuck Fisher.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, David Fisher.
Funeral services will be celebrated at Evangel Community Church, 1530 Harlansburg Road, New Castle, PA 16101, on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Pastor Harry Edenhofer will officiate. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
