Michael C. Glorioso, Jr.

Michael C. Glorioso, Jr., 76, of Old Butler Road in Shenango Township, died Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born in New Castle on June 7, 1948, the son of the late Michael C. Glorioso, Sr., and Louise (Fonzeno) Glorioso. Mr. Glorioso was a contractor for Glorioso Builder’s retiring after over 40 years. He enjoyed watching Seinfeld, listening to Bruce Springsteen, John Lennon, and the Beatles. He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and loved Roberto Clemente. He enjoyed golfing and music, and he played guitar and sang under the name Michael Holiday for a number of years. He also wrote a series of books named Clam Land Books.

He is survived by two children, Michael Clemente Glorioso of New Castle, and Arin Michele Milnes and her husband Robert of New Castle, two grandchildren, Dillon Milnes and Anthony Milnes, his first wife, Germaine (Goscenski) Glorioso, his second wife, Margaret Conti (Rich) Glorioso, one brother, Louis Glorioso of New Castle, and three sisters, Carmie Gennock of Fresno, CA, Michele Glorioso of Pittsburgh, and Lisa Glorioso of Florida.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Glorioso.

Private visitation has been scheduled at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
