Michael L. Trott

Michael L. Trott, 68, of E. Meyer Avenue, died Saturday, May 25, 2024, at his residence in New Castle. He was born in Grove City, PA, on January 2, 1956, the son of the late Robert and Helen (Heller) Trott, his mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Trott married Majorie A. (Kelley) Trott on October 7, 1978; she survives in New Castle. He worked for Flowline, and then worked for Graham Thermal as a Window Assembler, retiring after 15 years. Mr. Trott loved his dog, Rocky, his family, and especially, his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by two children, Maria L. Petronelis and Ryan Colaluca both of New Castle, two grandchildren, Christopher Petronelis and Niko Petronelis, one brother, James Trott, four sisters, Tina DeRosa, Bobbi Jo Kotlar and her husband Fabian, Barb Speicher and her husband Marvin, and Janet Jones, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by, three brothers, Mark Trott, Steven Trott, and Robert Trott, and one sister, Judy Carbone.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, May 31, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
