Nick Defelice

Nick DeFelice, 91, of Hanna Street, New Castle, died Sunday, April 7, 2019 at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born June 26, 1927 in New Castle, a son of the late Saverio and Antonetta (Cubelli) DeFelice. Mr. DeFelice owned ND Furniture in New Castle for a number of years. He was a World War II veteran of the Marines and a Korean War veteran of the Air Force. Mr. DeFelice enjoyed going to flea markets, festivals and liked watching football.
He is survived by one brother, Sam DeFelice of Wampum, two sisters, Anna Hunter of Wampum, and Connie Taylor of Westfield, OH, six nephews and three nieces, and a number of great nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother Carmen DeFelice, and his sister Jean Sokol.
Visitation will be held at Parkside Cemetery, 2809 Old Pittsburgh Road, on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 11 AM to 12 PM.
Blessing services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Parkside Cemetery. Deacon John Carran will be officiating. Burial will be in the Parkside Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
