It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman R. Rigotti, friend to hundreds, mentor of many, admired and respected by everyone who came in contact with him.

Born on November 3, 1934, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Norman Rigotti lived a life dedicated to giving, putting others first and giving much time and resources to making the world a brighter place. He passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, in Lady Lake, Florida at the age of ninety with the love of his life, Lina Hall by his side. He was a true inspiration known for giving serving on the Special Olympics Golf Tournament Committee. “Stormin Norman” was a man of immense humor and wisdom, cherishing every moment spent with loved ones and friends. His passion for cars, waterskiing, boating, hanging at the Sandbar, Beach Club, H&F Club, and Iroquois Club at Conneaut Lake will leave a lasting legacy. He will be remembered for his “storytelling” with friends and family and will forever bring a smile to your face.

Norman Rigotti was an honorable hard-working man with great integrity and his work ethic was evident as owner of Nor-Ric Dry Cleaners and Magic Touch Laundromat, Rigotti Plaza, Edgidio’s Restaurant, Bill and Norm’s Auto Sales, among other businesses in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Norman was an avid Sportsman and belonged to the Safari Club International, Ducks Unlimited, Conneaut Lake Sportsman, National Rifle Association, and served on the Safari Board of Directors.

Norman is survived by Lina Hall, his lifetime partner, daughter Deborah L. Campbell of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, grandchild James Hunter Campbell, niece Carol J. Malizia (Mickey), and nephew Joseph Rigotti (Susan), and many great nieces and nephews.

Norman was predeceased by Joseph Rigotti (father), Adele (Literini) Rigotti (mother), sister Pearl B (Rigotti) Vellone (Edward), brother William Rigotti, and niece Bonnie Bara.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5 PM to 8 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, New Castle, PA 16101. Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frederick Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
