Patricia Vincent

Patricia Vincent, 70, of New Castle passed away Thursday morning January 17, 2019 in her residence. Mrs. Vincent was born October 11, 1948, in New Castle, to the Late Edward and Dorothy (Smith) Allison.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 48 years and love of her life, Dennis C. Vincent.  Patricia earned her Diploma as a Registered Nurse from Jameson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She continued her studies in nursing and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State. Patricia later graduated from LA Roche College with a Masters of Nursing Degree.

Patricia was employed for 18 years at Jameson Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse and as a nursing instructor, then employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital as the head of medical surgical units and as an administrator. She then served as the Director of Nursing at Indian Creek Nursing Home. Patricia retired from Ellwood City Hospital’s Geriatric unit. Patricia held memberships in various nursing associations.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her two children; Allyson (Patrick) Mondora, Struthers, Oh. and Adam (Lori) Vincent, New Castle: One sister Sandra Allison, New Castle along with her three grandchildren; Valentina Vincent, Vionna Vincent and Gina Mordora.

Calling hours will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday (1-19-19) in the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, Inc.  926 Cunningham Ave. A procession will leave funeral home at 12:30 pm for St. Vitus Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Victor J. Molka Jr. as Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
