Paul Richard Robertson, Sr., 82, of Williams Street, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at his home in New Castle. He was born October 3, 1936 in Cambridge, Ohio a son of the late Herman and Irene (Bishop) Robertson. He was married to the late Nancy M. (Pasco) Robertson who died in 1998. Mr. Robertson was a bartender at Colonial Tavern retiring after 30 years. He was an avid football fan, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and loved spending time with family and friends. A special thank you to Sara Richard and the Vitas Staff for all the loving care they provided.
He is survived by three children, Paula Hake of Copple, PA, Paul R. Robertson, Jr., of New Castle, and Tammie Johnson of New Castle, one step-son, Lawrence Annarumo of New Castle, one brother, Thomas Robertson of Youngstown, OH, his companion, Ruth Farrell of New Castle, twelve grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, eleven step-grandchildren, and twenty-three step great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Irene Clements, his step-daughter Mary Schindler, and his step-son Ralph Annarumo, and three brothers, Jack, Willard, and Bruce Robertson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. Keith R. Black of Raccoon United Presbyterian Church will be officiating.
