Peggy J. Rodgers

Peggy J. Rodgers, 63, of Morris Street died Thursday, February 8, 2024 at UPMC Jameson Hospital. She was born in New Castle March 17, 1960 a daughter of the late George and Helen (McLaren) Thompson. She was married to the late Harlan E. Rogers who died December 22, 2022. Mrs. Rodgers was a homemaker and loved playing bingo, Coca-Cola and Reese’s and all of her pets, but she especially loved her grandkids.
She is survived by three children, John S. Rodgers and his girlfriend, Jeanessa Kelly, Laura M. Probst and her husband Robert and David J. Rodgers, all of New Castle, six grandchildren, Cheyanne Probst, Charles Probst, Ashely Probst, Miley E. Rodgers, Jonah Kelly and Patricia Kelly, and one great granddaughter, Faith N. Round.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1 PM to 2 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will officiate.
