Randall J. Shropshire

Randall J. Shropshire, 60, died Thursday, March 21, 2024, in New Castle, PA. He was born on February 2, 1964, in New Castle, the son of the late John and Shirley (Hall) Shropshire. Mr. Shropshire married Mary Ann (Bobby) Shropshire on June 28, 2014; she survives at home. Mr. Shropshire worked for Universal Rundle as a finisher for 15 years, and then worked for Tri Medical Rehab Supply, INC. in the warehouse, retiring after 20 years. He enjoyed landscaping and loved to cut the grass, was an avid sports fan, and loved to help anybody at any time. Above all, he loved being with his grandchildren, and his family will remember him as a wonderful husband, and the calm to Mary Ann’s storm.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three stepchildren, Eugene Tomsky and his wife Jonalyn, Gina Lovaglio and her wife Samantha, and Mark Tomsky and his fiancé Stefanie Phillips, five grandchildren, Avery Tomsky, Amelia Tomsky, Olivia Lovaglio, Teagan Lovaglio, and Delaney Tomsky, and one aunt, Betty Maravella.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Rodney ‘Bubs’ Shropshire.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 4:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jeremy Tell will officiate.
