Richard A. Dale

Richard Allen Dale, 70, of West North Street, died Thursday, June 14, 2018 at VNA Hospice in Butler. He was born in New Castle on June 11, 1948 a son of the late Richard H. Dale and Eleanor (Dwyer) Dale, his mother survives in New Castle. He was married to Dona Diane (Allison) Dale on December 31, 1987, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Dale was owner of Rick’s Antiques and Collectables in New Castle for 20 years. He was a Navy veteran serving in Vietnam. Mr. Dale enjoyed hunting, fishing, refinishing antiques and spending time with family and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Chelsey Dale of New Castle, Laura Dale of New Castle, Michelle Dale Plaufcan of New Castle and Jennefer Bender of Beaver Falls, one brother, Ronald Dale of New Castle, his sister-in-law, Debra Dellich and husband Steve of Slippery Rock, his brother-in-law, David Allison and wife Donna of Lusby, MD, seven grandsons and four granddaughters.

He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Betty Allison and one granddaughter, Kayda Dale.

Visitation will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 17, 2018 at 6:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate.
