Richard ‘Richie’ James Micco, Jr., (62), of New Castle, Pennsylvania, was called home to heaven on July 16, 2023.

Richard, fondly known as Richie, was born in New Castle, PA to Richard James Micco Sr. and Elizabeth Augustine (Kuchynka), on September 28, 1960. He was a charismatic guy who was loved by everyone he met. He had a contagious smile and was the type to give someone the shirt off his back, even if it meant he’d be cold. His friends can attest to this. He also loved shooting the breeze with his buddies at The Eagles, Sons of Italy, and The Dukes, and Friends.

One of Richie’s biggest accomplishments was being a father. His daughter, Ashley, called her dad a great influence in her life, and even as an adult, she still sees him that way. His pride for her was limitless and he made sure to brag about her any chance he got. He was always there for her through ups and downs, and taught her how to be thoughtful and compassionate.

Richie is survived by his daughter, Ashley Juresic (Micco) and his extra daughter Hilary Hilke (Jurina). He is also survived by a variety of relatives, including two nephews he thought of as his own kids, Nathaniel ‘Fannel Dude’ and Nicholas Feola. He is also survived by Denise Palazzolo, Tammy Micco, David Marsh & Family, and his godson Jeffrey Feola Jr., ‘JJ”. He is also survived by his MANY MANY amazing friends and their families, Flip Masters, Billy Ross, Mick Tarnoci, Roger DeCarbo, and too many others to list.

Richie was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander Kuchynka, Richard J. Micco Sr., and Elizabeth Kuchynka (neé Augustine).

Aside from his love for being social, Richie was also a lover of sports and betting. He was never a stranger to taking a risk and loved to gamble on his favorite teams. From family to friends to the clerk at any store he ever went to, he exuded a charm and kindness that was undeniable. He will be truly missed by all.
