Rose Marie Hobel

Rose Marie Hobel, 94, of New Castle, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023. She was born on September 28, 1928 in New Castle the daughter of the late Marion and Anna (Pisano) Rotunno. Mrs. Hobel was married to the late Clyde D. Hobel, Sr. Mrs. Hobel worked at Dave’s Market as a cashier, retiring after 70 years. She enjoyed cooking and bowling, and above all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by two children, Clyde D. Hobel, Jr., (Geri) and Carol A. Finamore (Richard) both of New Castle, four grandchildren, Jill Agellon, David Hobel, Keith Finamore, and Kevin Finamore, and eight great-grandchildren, Clark, Donovan, Luca, Julian, Caden, Calvin, Elena, and Aiden.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Sam Rotunno, and one sister, Irene Aluisia.
Private services have been scheduled at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
