Sandra L. Gaston

Sandra Lea Gaston, 81, formerly of Gardner Stop Road, died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Quality Life Services New Castle. She was born April 30, 1937 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Samuel and Edna (Miller) McCollough. She was married to the late Howard A. Gaston who died June 23, 2013. Mrs. Gaston was a laboratory technician at St. Francis Hospital retiring after 15 years. Sandra entertained many people at numerous local nursing homes and churches dressed as 'Sandra the Clown’. She enjoyed making crafts and boating and was a member of the Ashtabula Yacht and Boat Club.

She is survived by three children, Howard S. Gaston and his wife Donna of West Barnet, VT, Russell J. Gaston and his wife Pam of New Castle, and Tracey L. Sinopoli and her husband John of New Wilmington, nine grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, December 31, 2018 from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Dr. James Bibza of Center UP Church will be officiating.  Burial will be in the Center UP Church Cemetery.
