Shirley A. Jannetti

Shirley Angela Jannetti, 85, of Shenango Stop Road in Shenango TWP., died Monday, June 26, 2023 at UPMC Jameson Care Center. She was born in New Castle on March 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Alfonso and Nicoletta (Conti) Jannetti. Ms. Jannetti was a member of Holy Spirit Parish- St. Joseph’s, and she prayed to St. Jude and was a strong believer in him. She was the Co-owner and operator of NC Trophy and Award Center with her daughter. She enjoyed gambling, shopping, and the Pirates. She loved to cook and feed her family, and making to go packages for them, but above all she loved spending time with her family.

She was survived by three children, Robert W. Nestorek, Jr., wife Tracy and their children and families, Sondra M. Keith and husband Mark and their children and families, and Brenda L. DelPrincipe and husband Gregg, two sisters, Norma Langiotti and Louise Galmarini, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Frank ‘Buster’ Jannetti, and three sisters, Evelyn Smith, Virginia Malandro, and Dolores Fiello.

Private visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
