Stella L. Gonet

Stella L. Gonet, 81, formerly of Madonna Drive, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at The Grove New Castle. She was born October 24, 1936 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Wrona) Fleeger. She was married to the late Al Gonet who died August 30, 2002. Mrs. Gonet was a Sales Clerk at the Danish Pastry for 27 years. She was a member of the Mary Mother of Hope Parish and she enjoyed gardening, reading and cooking. The family would like to thank the staff at The Grove New Castle for Stella's wonderful care.
She is survived by one brother, Ralph Fleeger of New Castle, one sister, Myra Bucceri and husband Joe of Reedsville, PA, her sister-in-law, Sandra Fleeger of Poland, OH and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother John Fleeger.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 12 Noon to 1 PM.
Blessing services will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Mr. Matthew Hawkins will be officiating. Burial will be in the Madonna Cemetery.
