Walter E. Wilson, 86, of Randolph Street, died Sunday, December 1, 2024, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle. He was born on October 8, 1938, in New Castle, the son of the late John and Elsie (Robinson) Wilson. Mr. Wilson was the working lead man for Crane Co., retiring after 19 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering and was a handyman.
He is survived by his companion, Betty Jane Geminiani, and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by six brothers, Herman Wilson, James Wilson, Harry Wilson, Robert Wilson, John Wilson, and William Wilson, and three sisters, Helen Putro, Marie Barnes, and Dorothy Wilson.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
