Wendy L. Sherwood, 60, of Park Avenue, New Castle, died Monday, May 30, 2016 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born in Sellersville, PA on July 18, 1955 a daughter of the late Paul Payekewicz and Irene (Letterman) Payekewicz, her mother survives in New Castle. She was married for 34 years to Donald A. Sherwood, he survives in New Castle. Wendy was a jewelry maker for Asco Jewelry for 10 years in Newtown, PA. She enjoyed gardening, her pets and coloring, she was very artistic.
In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by five children, Michael Ferraro of Media, PA, Brenda Ferraro of Bristol, PA, Robert Ferraro of Pottstown, PA, Crystal Ferraro of Florida, and Cana Sherwood of New Castle, two brother, Donald Payekewicz of Quakertown, PA and James Perone of New Jersey, two sisters, Cindy Perone of Burlington, NJ and Tina Perone of New Jersey, and twelve grandchildren.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
